Beer may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Paris, but there is a true brewing revolution happening in the city of lights! Let me show you a bar or two where you can taste some local craft beer.
Before or after that I will take you on a historical literary tour. Interested in Anglophone literature? I can show you the Latin Quarter where Ernest Hemingway once lived, where James Joyce wrote Ulysses and where Gil got lost in the film Midnight in Paris. There is also the famous Shakespeare & Co. book store, once a training ground for the Lost Generation and the Beat Generation.
Paris wouldn't be complete without a bit of French literature of course. We will get a look inside of Victor Hugo's house at the Place des Vosges and take a stroll through hilly Montmartre where the Bohemian movement was born!
I can meet you at your hotel as long as it is within the city limits. From there, we can rely on Uber to move between the different areas of the city.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you want more beer than books or vice versa, or even if you have other suggestions for historical visits!

I am an English teacher with a passion for drinks and politics. Hailing from Texas and having lived in Paris for almost five years, I know the city like a local and benefit from the perspective of a former newcomer; I love meeting new people and sharing my city with the curious.
